You mean that blocky thing on the front? That's no can. It's a flashhider/booster. If you don't have that on it, you get this:

he's referring to the can on the right side of the picture, there is one if you look.

you can shoot it without ear protection, yes...not the quietest gun to shoot suppressed, but there's a pretty big diff. shooting it suppressed vs non-suppressed.

Glockdude, the chest rig is a BlackWater, you can buy whatever Molle pouches you need with it.

As we are not allowed to have a can, I don't own one. However, I do own an aluminum fake can. If I shoot with that one on, the flame goes over 3 yards long :P

not good at all if your looking for a tactical weapon but its a great show stopper....

It's a converted f/a. We're not allowed to have f/a guns. This one is what for us is pre-ban. Since August 2005 no guns are allowed in the country that came from the factory in f/a. Only s/a are allowed in from that date. This one was on another guys license from off 2003 en in 2006 I bought it. So, a 3-pin AK as we call them The tail of the disconnector has been cut off. That's the only change they made (and they welded a pin on the push button of the foldable stock (inside the receiver) to prevent folding as that is illegal here as well).

It's one of four in the Netherland sand none will come in anymore. This due to the three pins but also because of the 8 inch barrel which is to short for the current laws (minimum of 12 inch required).

By the way, here's a pic with the fake can on it. The red dot on the rifle is a POSP PK-AV red dot.
