Just put the G2 kit in my AB1 and also replaced the grips with Yugo grips. I think I'm done except for the bayo on its way next week.

You sure that is 5.45x39 and not 5.56 Nato? I have the same magazines for 5.56 Nato and I know they're using the Nato round over there.

I feel you are right. The guy that sent me that pic, stated it was 5.45x39. Now that I have done some research, the Polish did make many of there AK's in 5.56.

It's got the auto sear pin but no auto notch in the receiver from what I can see...

OK, I have to correct myself here. I shot a Beryl at the KCR shoot a few weeks ago and the selctor on the right side could only go on safe or fire. However, on the left side it had a small selector for semi fire, burst and f/a fire.

Finally got my Saiga .223 done. It is not a "Correct" AK by any means but It works for me... I am actually quite fond of it.... front sight pushed off and pin holes re-welded then turned 1/2 x 28 and AR15 flash suppressor installed. The HK sights (RTG parts - cheapest I found) welded on. HG is TAPCO... wish I would have put a HG rt. on when I had the barrel off but oh well.... I see a rail HG up there in the future. SAW grip, holes in receiver welded up, KVAR stock, surefire mags... sling I made (LMK if you want one - I have extras ) Tapco FCG. Rear sight block welded up (amazing job there by Trident) Many thanks to TRIDENT INDUSTRIES Corvallis, Oregon and 762llc of Albany, Oregon for all their help...... You cant go wrong with those guys!

I finally got a Saiga and got her done. She is my mail order Russian bride. HG retainer is Dinzag. Tapco cut down galil hg, Tapco SAW grip and FCG. Swift lever safety, KVAR buttstock, gun has HK sights welded on (cheapest HK sights I found was from RTG parts), Sling is the MASH style made by me - (LMK if you want one I have many ) gun was duracoated by TRIDENT INDUSTRIES in Corvallis, Oregon and 762llc of Albany Oregon helped out a bit too. You cant go wrong with those guys. They are awesome to deal with. I am not a fan of the Tapco hg - perhaps a rail in my future for this gun. I would like to do something different with the stock also - It doesnt give a lot of purchase area at the shoulder. Nice thing about this S12 is it eats EVERYTHING 2.75 or 3" and all on the #1 setting from slugs to aa trap loads.... bang bang every time through the Surefire and AGP mags. That makes me very, VERY happy.
