Here are a couple of pics of my honest to goodness, real, Chinese Type 56 machine gun:
It is a "Triangle 66" marked gun that was made in 1965.

This is what happens when you weld a 6.5 inch flash hider to a Draco, and add a stock.
The "Flash Hider" is really more of a Flash Amplifier.![]()
CAI Draco pistol. I re-finished forearm, added krink brake and Duracoated Russian Army green.

Ahhh...The double underfolder. The classic height of badassness. IMO, the ultimate in cool for the AKs.

That's no SKS bayonet. That's Chinese AK all the way.
I believe you. In the US, only the stamped Polytech underfolders had the underfolding bayo's. The few milled receiver AK's with underfolding bayo's, I have ever seen, have been pics only.
Did it come from China that way, or was it custom work? Very nice AK you have. I have a Milled Polytech myself, but it is the full stock version.

The front sight/bayonet assembly were added. It's a bit of a custom job.
The bayo for mine is a real PITA to take off the rifle. It does not get any use.

Might as well open my Kimono:
Just a Romanian that I refinished (actually shoots pretty well), my old Colt Car-15 (I bought it new in 1973 & painted up it myself - back then nobody cammoed their stuff...I guess I was ahead of my time), and a Virgin Bulgarian Krink kit that I recently sold on GB to buy a Vector Uzi.
Better view of the Krink kit.... it was beautiful - never built, drilled or pinned - no numbers, completely virgin..... but I could never find the right transferable receiver for it, and it would have been a sin to just build it as an SBR or pistol, and I was offered three times what I paid for it, so it went by-by....I'll probably regret it.....
