180 series Wood Heat shield
I was going through some of my old stuff the other day and found an old heat shield for a Mini 14. I sold the rifle a couple years ago with a metal one on it and could not find the wood one at the time. I know it was off of a 180 series rifle. Does anyone know the value of this item? I have heard that they are hard to find but I don't need it sitting in my garage any longer.

David Spiwak sells them for$100.00
I appreciate that. It will be tagging along to the local gun show here in Salt Lake and I will see what I can do. I appreciate the help.
the metal ones (blued or nickel) are also very, very hard to locate these days. They were made by Federal Ordnance and were used by non other than, "The A Team" on the stainless rugers during ONLY the 2nd season. I have a few of the nickel ones and one of them is on one of my Mini 14s. Right now there is a guy on eBay selling the blued metal Federal Ordnance handguards on eBay.
Wood ones are all over the place on eBay.
Thread hijack, I have two 180 series stock gas liners I wanted to sell off.
It is the sheetmetal liner in the stock that I have 2 of.
I got them as Ruger stopped making stuff for the 180 model with the neat bolt hold open and walnut stock.
I am not 100% sure if they are all the same or not, honestly.
