If im not mistaken we are getting Romainian, and other AK's and such with US made recievers. NOT, straight imports thanks to BUSH 41. Russ

    List is incorrect

The 922r dot com list is wrong on the UZI. It lists no pistol grip. Only the norinco's with the thumbhole stocks would have no pistol grip. Aren't they a very small portion of UZI's in circulation. The MAK90 had a thumbhole stock but the list says ak's have a pistol grip. Beware of 99% of the info avaiable on the net. Except UZITALK of course.

The Romanian WASRs and SARs came in the country as sporter rifles (thumbhole stocks and single stack mags), century rebuilt them into standard config by replacing the parts and barrels.

That's why you get canted sights, because they've been tampered with by the monkeys.

I posted the link because it showed the law and had some examples.

Not all MAK 90's had thumbhole stocks. I use to think the same because it stands for Modified AK for 1990 (to meet the import ban). I am not sure how some have non-thumbhole stocks and are still MAK 90's but they are out there and not converts.

Any rifle that can accept a military hicap mag is banned from import. Most PG rifles are banned from import as well (.22 caliber rifles aren't banned under this rule.)

WASR and Saiga rifles come in with only the ability to take a 10 round mag, and they are converted to hicap ablity in the states, after adding some USA made parts for compliance.
