My NODAK NDS-1948 receiver almost completed build

Here's my almost completed build.....with fixed stock....all that's missing is the front sight and the sling mount, and a coat of Uzi black paint

I'd black parkerize it next than go for an exteriour epoxy finish like DuraHeat or Duracoat on the finish - my choice would be Duraheat.

    Good job.

I'll probably go with Duracoat....it has worked out very well for me in the past......

Actually....maybe only around $300.00 including the receiver.....let me explain.....I already own a Model A Uzi....but it is not legal in Connecticut, where I shoot most often (banned by name)...so when this receiver came along all welded up and not labeled UZI I jumped on it.....all I did was fix the stock, install a few parts to hold down the top cover and barrel, and transfer over my already semi auto lower, and move all the rest of the guts to the new host......I still need to add the front sight......But then again the Model A cost me about 750.00 a few years ago.....I did have to drill out the lower lug to 9mm since my lower was already semi auto.....

    Pretty awesome!

So since it's not an "UZI", when you're at the range, what are you going to call it?
