    AOW Shotgun Scabbard Ideally MOLLE

Well I have a Remington 870 AOW shotgun and I want to carry it in a scabbard/pouch that will be mounted on the back of my vest (Improved Interceptor OTV).

I hate to make a movie reference, but in the movie Aliens, Corporal Hicks has that shotgun in a scabbard of some sort, on his back, the one that he "keeps handy" for "close encounters."

Obviously this is pre-Molle era, but the movie people had to use some sort of scabbard that he put the shotgun/prop in.

My Rem 870 is slightly longer than 24 inches in overall length, with a 12 inch barrel. It has a Knoxx pistol grip.

I'm hoping to find some heavy duty material that will go via MOLLE directly to the back of my Improved Interceptor.

That states "35 inch overall length" while mine is slightly longer than 24 inches overall and it has a pistol grip.

Oh Damn it..there is a guy who makes custom holsters for AOWs...I just can't remember his name. He's made them for other member's AOWs. I remember seeing a picture of a leg holster he made for someone's little 3 shot Mossberg 500.

Look on GB in the "Class three" section. Sometimes he throws a few up for sale. Sorry, I just can't remember the guys name.

I have a vague idea of the guy you're referring to. I've seen some AOW leg holsters and I believe the one I am thinking of was from the guy you're referring to.

Does he only do leg holster stuff or does he do scabbards and such?

Additionally- Thank you for the response and the info, to you and dprice.

    Here's the company you want:

    http://www.sktindustries.com/

He does good work but it's a bit pricey.

I have an AOW holster that he made and it's top notch gear.

In addition to the scabard I had this rig made from a Galco Miami Classic, Serbu on 1 side Glock on the other.
