I like the looks of it. Does it lock ridged? Fold nicely? Do you have more pictures?

Are you able to use the iron sights? looks like the comb is much higher than factory.

I have to manufacture a retaining plate, Ill get my quote for that back this week and Ill put together pricing this week.

The ACR stock matches the profile of the rear of the FNC lower almost as though it was made to match the profile.

The downside, as pointed out by Stormwerks, is that the cheek comb is high. I can use the irons, but its not comfortable. It really is geared more toward using an optic. Ill do some test firing later this week with the optic on. Also, you cannot pull the trigger if youre right handed with the stock folded when in the retracted position.

The highest cost is the donor ACR stock.

Given that it is a factory ACR stock, and its a Magpul product, its very high quality and locks up solidly.

if anybody is interested please contact me and Ill put you on a list for pricing and such.

There was project very similar to this over on FAL files.

    Will the cost be similar?

Well, its not really the same. I'm reutilizing the original plate and he's making a new one. I opted for a simple retainer plate that sandwiches the original plastic hinge plate and the lower itself. That will keep the cost down.

Could you add a slight angle to the adapter plate to rotate the toe of the stock up when it is folded, thereby allowing access to the trigger? This would slightly angulate the stock down when deployed, but it would likely not be noticeable.

    I can investigate that possibility.

Not having to deal with the hinge would def keep cost lower.

I am waiting on the pricing back for a flat steel plate that I will need to have laser cut. As soon as I have pricing in hand I will let everyone know.

I had concern early on with the cheek weld, and to be honest between myself and a friend of mine that checked it out today, with an optic on it is preferred to have the cheek piece in the elevated position.
