I have a folding stock I got with a kit from robertrtg.com. The front part of the stock locks out solid but the rear part that sits on your shoulder bounces up and down. Does not lock at all. Is this normal? Or is there some kind of defect? Thanks!

Mine locks up tight. I haven't used it in years, my Uzi is usually sporting the wood stock.
Hmm. Very odd. Maybe I'll just order another. The back part of the stock flops around a good inch. I can't figure out a way to tighten either.
Skip the folder, and go with a full stock. Much more comfortable.

the back half of mine has the same up and down slop and i was just about to ask the same question. I was thinking about tig welding in a little material to tighten in up but i'm not sure yet.
Mine locks open tight, no movement. Contact robertrtg.com. see if he will swap out yours, for a tighter one.
Sorry for the necrothread: same question - how does one tighten up the middle joint in the folding stock? I don't have as much wobble as the OP, but still would like to take some play out of a folding stock.

Thanks for the link. For posterities sake, is there a way to fix wobbly stocks or is buy another really the only option?
I have flop in my Norinco, took a BFH to it, tightened up a bit, you may just want to call Robert, he's good people, he will swap out another for you.
