    That being said, looks like the railed gas tube is the best compromise especially if you don't change or modify the charging handle. I still like the rail from FAB. Allows for many add ons; light, optic, folding grip. You don't get that with the other options out there that also allow for easy strip down without having to remove the rail system.

    I have a railed gas tube I got back in the day. The T-1 has absolute cowitness with the front site.

    So I have an update - I received the prototypes for the Galil rails earlier today. I haven't attached them yet, so I had to prop the rifle against my couch to get a general outline. Again, I had to block the mounting technique for the time being. Will need to acquire an AK bolt carrier or weld the bolt carrier. Will test soon I promise!

    PS - Stock knuckle is a FAB defense with a standard USGI stock
