And Red or green? I've never seen a green dot, is there some benefit?

I prefer Red Dot; The Green can get lost in foliage (especially Spring and Summer) and the "clutter" of circles, etc on a screen/lens actually causes me to be slower and a bit less accurate.
If there's a choice, I prefer green, not that red is bad but I pick up green a little faster.
I prefer the red & green dot option. The green dot is easier to find in sunlight (shows up better). Having the choice I'd get one that has the red/green option. I shoot a lot of steel with a SA pistol and PCC and I don't like the circle dot at all. So I guess depending on what you're going to use it for the circle dot might be fine. For fast acquisition 6 moa red/green I'd recommend.

Red dot and circle for me. The Holosuns seem to give me less trouble with my astigmatism.

I'm a straight up, what is now probably old school, plain ass, 2-4moa red dot.

Me personally i like dots. I do have a circle dot (cheap garbage) on my shotgun that i like very very much. Kinda a "death zone" for that application. I find the reticle faster. I shoot gophers alongside of my country road with it. Highly effective.
What are you putting this on?
Canik SFX tp9 / a Browning recoil mechanism pistol
These are a circle with a dot in the middle vs just the dot

The nice part of the 507K is that you can choose between dot, dot and circle or just circle. Experiment and see what works for you.
