It sure looks like it. A local gun shop got a bunch in and they sold out in a few hours. I went ahead and had them order me one. Marty hit a home run on this one.

My LGS has one on the wall. I built my own last year and it is fun to shoot. Would have been cheaper if I waited, but that is a rare thing in the gun game.

I've got the full size Mossberg 590 with bayo lug (like I'll ever use it) and love it. Very nice pump gun.

I'd love to buy one but have scaled back my purchases since I quit my good paying job LOL! I'll have to be happy with my Remington 870 tactical with the Remington "Law Enforcement Only" folding stock with a Crimson Trace CMR-201 laser on a barrel rail. Not quite this short but very funn to shoot and effective!

Don't want to explain to a cop/judge how it's legal. Pass.

Though they are using the written law, it may be VERY hard to explain it to your local PO-PO.

I took the hard route and built myself an SBS several years ago.

Mine is slightly smaller 12.5" barrel.
This is the latest configuration, but it usually looks as simple as the Mossy is this post, same broom handle grip, mostly because I can't find a wooden one anywhere for sale anymore.
But at least I can take mine and throw a stock on it every once in a while.

Since I live in Florida and I have an airboat I wanted a sawed off shotgun to keep in the boat for snakes. I plan on keeping birdshot in mine. As far as being legal I decided to buy the Mossberg factory built version purchased brand new from a local well known gun shop and not build on myself. I will be happy to explain to a Leo why I blasted a water moccasin.
