Hmm I can take some? All the new parts are measured already for cutting.. everything else is you know... cut this, cut that a bit here and there. Weíll get to that!

This part has moved slowly because I’m being very deliberate at each step.. you can always remove more material but it’s a bit more challenging to add it back.. I can always cut more. This approach has served me well. I’ll continue to grind down the shotgun housing & Mac mount until the fit is perfect.

The gap here approximates the magwell location.

Stock mount arrived. Aluminum beside the 3D print. Its nice- will require a bit of work for a perfect fit, but thatís exactly what we want.

Normally, there is a piston in the stock that hooks onto the back of the stock and the front of the piston as captured by the yoke
locking the M60 stock to the M60 receiver under pressure. How are you attaching the block shown to the stock?

Itís long enough to rest against the back of the stock, and Iíll put a bolt through the bottom hole to secure it on there. Iíll need to file it down a bit for perfect fit, so there wonít be any wiggle room.

    Sounds like that will work!
IMHO, Would be interesting to not require any stock
    Mods and support quick attachment
so you could accept any Common m60 stock variant e1,e3,e4

IMHO, would be cool with an m249 stock as well

I do have some buffer adapters and the other types of stocks. Would just need to drill the appropriate holes and cut the side plates at the right angle. Maybe on another build. This is complex enough as it is!

Top cover hinge is complete, picking up this week.
