    Irma!

I just wanted to touch base and let everyone know what is going on. I got sick and had to go to the hospital last week. Turns out I have very bad heart burn and ulcers. The pain was so bad I spent all of last week in bed recovering.

I spent this week getting ready for Irma. Which I just finished all outside preparations. boarding up the windows, pulling everything inside, making sure the boat is secure. We have plenty of water and groceries to last seven to ten days and I talked to the manager at the local Winn Dixie and he said they should be opened Tuesday.

If your Uzi is with me it is safe and secure. All customer guns are in safes which are also wrapped with plastic. If we loose power that kind of puts us out of touch until power is restored. Please bear with us. I will try to post updates to our Facebook page as I can.

Please everyone in Florida keep your heads down and be safe.

Happy thoughts your way. Been through Ike and now Harvey and I've decided this just isn't much fun.

Richard, you and your family take care. Sounds like you all have a very good plan for Irma!!

I'll be taking what could be a direct hit tomorrow in SW FL. I got the family out, but the house didn't get boarded. Not sure what I'm going to see when I get back. It's a waiting game at this point.

Thank you everyone. We are just sitting here waiting for it to come. We just need to make it to tomorrow morning and we should be OK.

    Hi Richard,

Hope all is well. Evidently nobody told Irma to stay in Tampa. Looks like you took a direct hit!

More Uzis than that. No attic and we have our own boat. We are also on high ground so it will take a lot more than Irma to flood us out.
