Wish I could, traveling for business that week- going in the spring though.. extended off-season, back to training in January. Taking the holidays off.. going to drink Irish whiskey by the fireplace and take lots of naps.

Take cash, arrive early and bring something with wheels to carry your gear it's a haul to the subgun range.

I’ll be there. I may bring my M11... I would like to see a CF-W Bolt and a grey ghost upper if anyone will be bringing one?

I'm going. I always go but have never shot the subgun match. Does anyone have experience with the matches? Do you have to preregister? Are you assigned a certain time?

The full rules are posted on the Knob Creek web site. It is best to pre registered early if you want to get your preferred shooting time.. I like to watch a round or two, do a run, watch a few more and then a second run. Otherwise they'll give you a time.

Too much shit going on (my ex but still partner passed away in July) and your government doesn't want me in the country (visa denied in May due to my extensive traveling last year).

Well, we are here in Radcliff and heading to the range shortly to get our stuff arranged in the booth.
Wednesday was overcast and today is predicted to be partly sunny.

So. I understand knob Creek is a cold range etc. Just like every other gun show is. I fully understand no open carry with loaded guns etc. Do any of you conceal carry there? I'm not worried about us. I'm more worried about some maniac does something dumb to prove a point to ban something because apparently that's what liberals do these days. I'd really like to carry and obviously not take it out and be a dumbass. But I don't wanna get in trouble after I drive 1000 miles to get there.

Cold means COLD! Should you get caught walking around with a loaded weapon you will be escorted to the road.Plenty of armed and unseen security walking about so you will be fine young grasshopper.

Ok. Sounds good. Never been there before. Don't know the atmosphere. Thanks for the advice! I'll leave it in the car.

First timers, bring good boots and be in shape. You'll do a ton of walking. Sneakers are murder because there are lots and lots of sharp rocks, your feet will be shredded. Guess how I know.

Plan in advance how you'll get stuff home, shipping or asking someone else to hump it back, or whatever. Even if you plan to not buy anything that won't fit in a suitcase, invariably you'll find a case of that weird ammo you haven't seen since 1985 for a dirt cheap price.
