    22 conversion bolt

Doing some google surfing and ran into this.
I've never seen one with an external cocking lever.
Does anybody have information on this type of set up?
Will this type work on a semi auto full size?

The external cocking handle is the way all of the IMI .22 kits were made. They were designed specifically for the full sized semi-auto UZI, so yes, they work fine in that gun. Much more reliable than the Action Arms kits.

So I'm guessing the last part in that pic is a barrel insert? If so, how is it secured in there?

Would this kit work with a different 22 conversion barrel?

It is inserted into the chamber end and secured with the barrel nut. Instructions here

Bishop, Vector made their own .22 barrel to work with the IMI kits without the use of the insert. I don't know if it will work with the action arms kit.

I was asking because there was a complete bolt up on gunbroker and the price was stagnant at $28 for most of the auction, so I was thinking "What the hell" I could find the rest over time and have a kit.

It finally sold for $165, but I lost interest at $92.
