I am no expert or even an amature but I think that depends on if it’s a S or P or C prefix series MK760.....I see the going rate for MK760s seems to have gone up, even well used ones.....I would say $7500? I could be way off but a used one sold for $8400 recenlty, that could be an aberration though.....

I would agree somewhere around 8k.
The prefix does add value because they rushed and didn't have enough made before the ban. So they took carbine and pistol and registered them as a machine gun. Collectors prefer the ones made specifically as a machine gun.

That being said I would take the 8k and buy a Mac, just my opinion.
    Don't get me wrong I wouldn't mind buying a 76 or a clone.

I think you made a wise move on passing on the gun. I have two of them. One is "brand new in the box" and there is a reason; it won't hunt. The mag well was welded at the wrong angle, so we are in the process of cutting off and re-attaching. The other one is a Fruithurst Alabama one and it is solid and reliable. If you buy it for $8K, then you can figure on another 1 or 1.5K to get it to run. We are thinking of making a Swedish K out of mine....just a thought.
