I see a resemblance to this album cover:

And in an incestrous sort of way, this has a striking resemblance, probably the same cousin/mother.

The same reason people still want a revolver. Nostalgia. I'd like to own a lever gun but I'd want a modern classic like a new Navy Arms or Henry Deluxe or maybe an older vintage Winchester.

    I love lever guns.
    And revolvers..

Matter of fact I have more revolvers then autos when it comes to hand guns
My grail gun was always a 629 S&W mountain gun and I finally got one about 7 years ago.

I love the 44 in a small package their just ain't to many problems you can't solve with a large frame revolver.

My two current levers are a Marlin 44 mag and a No. 1 Ruger in 375 H&H

Now that thing they hung all the rails and AR stock on is just GANSTA and dumb.

It needs a bayonet and VFG.

I love lever guns and have several. I understand the synthetic forearm and maybe even the rails on the forearm. But that stock is just butt ugly.

I thought you were talking about the hi point when I read the title. I always thought they looked like a snake that had just eaten a small dog.

Because 86, 92 and 95 Winchester rifles are super sexy.

Sadly, I could see it being designed to sell in places with AW bans where just about any semi auto would be outlawed as a baby killing evil black rifle. A "manually operated repeater" is going to be one of the last types of firearms they will go after even in kali. You still get to be "tacticool" and hang everything including the kitchen sink off your multiple rails with a legal rifle that is capable of somewhat rapid fire.

That said, Chuck Conners and John Wayne are currently spinning in their graves...

This thought has occurred to me. I'm repulsed and laughing at it but there may be a day when that's the best option. For some that day is already here.

BTW, I first saw one of these on a local internet trading forum and I thought "holy hell, that guy went to a lot of trouble to create that abortion but nobody will ever buy it". Then I discovered somebody at Mossberg actually thought it was a good idea and they MAKE THEM.

I have a 336 in .308 that's all tactical'd out , but no threaded barrel since the work removing the barrel + threading cost would be about the same as i paid for the rifle.

I don't know, it has a certain post-apocalyptic je nais se quoi Mad-Maxesque vibe to it.

    But I ain't buying one.

If they were cheap, it would be a good truck/ATV gun.

Although an adjustable LOP Stock is good for kids to grow into. My Father is short (5'5"-5'6"), and he has to cut stocks to fit him.
