Good currently available direct thread 9mm suppressors?

Was looking at the Gemtech GM9 with the direct thread mount for the uzi barrel nut, any other suggestions out there on good suppressors to look at?

Just got our SOT at the shop, so a bit new to the options and what everyone thinks is the best/worst/best value for the buck.

Bowers Vers series or Aklys pilum, Hawker

In all fairness, the UZI suppresses well with most anything though

    Lightweight, versatile, quiet.

I always have preferred a decent size sub gun can like a Vers/ CAC/ or even a MK9K.

Bowers Vers 9S for me. I like that I can change the mount and use it on a variety of guns. The 3 lug mount locks up tight.

SiCo Octane with uzi mount is quiet. But I normally shoot my old Coastal Uzi can.

the barrel nut mount from GemTech(multimount) and Bowers(CAC-45) are good. I invested in the 3-lug barrel from BWE and find that I use those more than the original barrel nut mount adapters.

I've found that to be the case as well.

The thing about "which silencer" threads is that most answers consist of "I have X, and it works really well". Since the Uzi makes a very good suppressor host, you can almost skip past suppression levels and start looking at other features like length, weight, and attachment method.

Personally, I think the skinny pistol cans look funny on a subgun. Sort of like the long skinny barrel on a semi-auto Uzi. Shot side-by-side, I can't tell any real difference between the CAC-45 and the shorter VERS-9S.

I have threaded barrels, barrel nut mounts, and 3-lug adapters.

Of the cans I own, I usually grab the VERS-9S with the barrel but mount. Again, it comes down to personal preference.

Buy a maxim 9 for $860 and get a free octane

Get an extra gun and suppressor for $250 more

Still have a day to get it done

Octane 45 is what I have. It works well. If you never use it on pistols it would be my choice.
