Who cares how it's worth $3000. The real question is how is it legal to own? Sure destruction standards have changed but that looks far too easy to repair. I don't think that they were that lax back in the old days.
I wouldn't buy that for $1.
Yeah no way that's legal. Could fix that in literally 2 mins.
Band saw cut receivers were legal for awhile until the aTf found that a saw cut Uzi could be put together with duct tape and function. Then came the torch cut receivers...
Yes, thats what my question is how is this legal to own or how could you make it legal to posses if you put it back together? Dont think its possible there for it is not worth a dollar as as Skoda states.. Also looks like the barrel and the bolt are not correct to the gun.
Would have to be modified to semi closed bolt.
What's it worth as a parts set? $2-300 at best. Even for that money I'd avoid it and the worries that come with it and buy the parts that you need from other sources.
No doubt they are looking to sell it to someone with ill intent and little skills/tools. That just puts our hobby into a bad light.

This creates another Fun Question created out of the NFA branch's inconsistent edicts.
I'm guessing it's legal to OWN this (if one claimed it was demilled at a time saw cuts were legal) ?
Hey, let's write a letter to ATF? :-)
Demilled standards once allowed for saw cut receivers, but I believe it required two cuts and those were in specific places as mandated by BATF.
Today a minimum amount of material must be displaced using a torch.
I seriously doubt that method of demill ever met federal standards.
That’s a hard pass.
