I am ready for that MAC. The upper arrived today. It's cute.

Look how much less mass the speed bolt has.

So since the upper was arriving today, I felt like dialing up the ATF for the heck of it. Turns out it was approved this morning!

Congratulations. It still might be a week or more before the paperwork arrives.

If it doesn't show in 45 days you can request a certified copy sent directly to you and use that to pick it up. I've been seeing a lot of no shows and late arrivals lately.

7 months isn't bad. I hope mine goes that smoothly! My last F4 was 13 months almost to the day. It arrived about a week later on my birthday. Best birthday surprise ever!

    Congrats on your approval!

Nvm.. I missed the Lage upper part.. I should learn to read more carefully.
In the mactalk facebook group someone posted their m11/380 today where they used the lage buffer system on a stock upper to speed it up. Did a 50 round dump as its a swd one that takes the m11/9 mags.

I'm tempted to order a set myself to run on my suppressed upper and see if the mags can keep up.

Well, it's been 4 weeks since approval. No call from my dealer yet. This is almost more painful than the pending form 4 wait. Haha.

When did Lage start putting the manufacturing info on the left side of the upper?

My last stamp took 30 days to show up at the dealer and the impression I got was that was about average now.

My last F4 arrived within a week of approval. My last F1 was about 10 days after submission. Timetables are useless with the ATF.

Did you take my advice from several posts ago and request a certified copy?

BATFE now says to give it 45 days to receive the approved form as most agents are working from home and only returning to the office once a month or so, to drop off and get a new stack of applications

Good for them. My friends with gov jobs are in the office 40%, same for friends in national guard. Stupid.

I see you’ve constructed the classic “ghost” configuration, where a new Mac owner whose gun is in NFA jail builds the entire gun, music the receiver. Best to just go ahead and buy a few more SMGs so they start showing up at Semi regular Intervals!

Semi auto does not seem to function correctly with the Lage upper. Works fine with the original one. That's a bit odd. Good to know this before I actually go shoot it.

The FAQ on Lage's site says something about semi auto not functioning if the FCG is installed incorrectly, but that doesn't seem to be the case here?
