The best upgrade for a MAC period.
Heck, you can use it on three different MAC platforms.

This is my first batch of “Idaho built bolts”. Unfortunately they got hung up at the engravers and there was nothing I could do about it. Any customers who had funds that made it into my bank account before they returned for the engravers had their bolts shipped first. The remaining customers funds were not deposited until last Friday, and I am assembling their A bolts and packing parts orders today. They’ll all ship Wednesday via insured USPS Priority Mail. Email notifications with tracking numbers will be forthcoming.

For anyone involved, please accept my sincere apologies for the shipping delay. I accept full responsibility. Thanks for your understanding.

I wonder what the resell ceiling is on these 10 years from now.

    Better get yours now.

Thanks again Tom. I will run them side by side this weekend, in the Grey Ghost, and report back.

People who have shot literally tens of thousands of rounds through each bolt prefer the A bolt, myself included.

I cleaned mine up the other day after three four thousand rounds, looks like new! That alloy is pretty cool stuff.

Is there a thread that goes over the differences between the two? Both work in the m11/9? The A also works in the large mag well m11?

The same bolt is sold for the M11/9 and M11A1. The only difference is the recoil and eject rod lengths and the length of the recoil spring. The A1 spring has about 63 coils.

Has anyone tried to color the bolt to match the park finish on the upper? I'm curious about W taking a finish.

This bolt material has high lubricity and does not tarnish. I've used the steel coatings like nickle boron and others in AR-15 and they don't hold up like this, and none of it comes close to the lubricity and tarnish resistance of this material. I would suggest not painting it as you have a good thing going.

Is there a trick for getting the A bolt into an M11/9? It has been a half year since I last did it, but because of the shorter ejection rod I remember having to compress the bolt spring to keep the ejection rod inside of the bolt and keep everything aligned.

    Yes.

Option 1. Put the bolt in the upper. wrap a rubber band around the back of the bolt retaining plate and the front the upper. Put upper and lower back together. After it’s put together cut the rubber band and pull out.

Option 2. Get a longer ejection rod that can bridge the gap so you don’t have to do the rubberband trick

The CF-W Bolt is the best accessory for the M11. It really turns a Sow's Ear into a Silk Purse.

My bolt and extra springs showed up today. If you haven't got one (or a spare) from VegasSMG yet, you will be sorry in the future.
