M10LR “Long Range”/Export Model

I don’t know how to post pictures but hopefully the link works. Attached is a picture from Frank Iannamico’s “The Mac Man” showing an M10 with a permanently attached barrel extension. I recently found one and want to get some background info/verify it’s authenticity. Has anyone seen a “Long Range”/Export Mac before?

If you didn’t know, in 1974 the State Department banned the export of submachine guns with suppressors or threaded barrels to accept suppressors, so Ingram/MAC “permanently” attached the barrel extensions to get around that.

This post has more info also. The guy I bought it from didn't tell me anything about it, just that he had it a long time. I am also selling the opposite looking thing of that on GB right now....M1 flash hider looking thing.

Yeah that state department suppressor ban is one of the main reasons that killed M.A.C.

Were you able to test fit it onto your gun?

I need to buy an M-10 so I can test fit the multiple pieces I have for them just to make sure.....at least that is how I will try to convince the wife to let me buy one.

Only filed the paperwork on mine a month ago so it will be some time before I can test fit it
