The poor child is shooting from the wrong side!
My grandkids are left handed for some reason but when I let them shoot the M11 I "help" them with a right handed stance to keep the blowback and powder residue from spewing into their faces.

Just turned 13. He is deadly with our M11/9 with the CF-W bolt, but he likes shooting our Sten MkII the most.
My son is 8 but he is a wreaking crew, hip shooting with the CFW baby mac. He keeps asking me why these things are not more common at the range.
Here he is shooting our Reising M50. I built up that Jersey Arms gun from a registered reciever I got in 1992. Built it up with an SWD M10/45 parts kit. Been shooting great these 28 years.

When Tony was 6 I got him a Cricket 22 rifle. That now belongs to his 10 year old Sister Diane. Of course all the guns are locked up and controlled by me when not at the range.
Ever since that 9 year old killed that range officer in Nevada, my local outdoor range won't let anyone less then 13 shoot anything but a 22 rifle. The indoor range by me let's anyone over 9 shoot anything.
That was a huge mistake letting a young girl handle a mini Uzi. Same with that young boy in Mass that shot himself in the head with a Uzi pistol. Should have been a full size Uzi, slower rate of fire and heavier.Originally Posted by boomer535
Yes I started Tony on the Sten. I wouldn't give him a full magazine till he proved to me he could handle the gun. Then he learned the M11/9 with the CF-W bolt. The M10/45 was the last gun I let him shoot. I started him with just 10 rounds in the magazine. He managed 4 bursts with 10 rounds. The video is him shooting the first full magazine. He shoots pretty good. I am proud of nim.

strobro32 Those boys know where to shop according to the hats on their heads. They definitely are the coolest kids on their street. They also know the best place too blast is the cowboy town! Hope they post some more videos!

boomer535 your son is a master Jedi with bursts from a mac10/45! That's alot of lead too control.
You deserve to be proud. I hope my son is a good as yours at that age.
The M-10 chambered in .45 is one bad hombre and requires training and experience to properly handle it.

Thats pretty impressive control given his weight range. I remember someone let me run their bone stock M11/9 at age 13 and it damn near lifted me off the ground! Of course, that was before CFW bolts.
The gun my Son was shooting is a real frankengun. It started as a stripped registered receiver. It was supposed to be an open bolt semi auto that ATF classified as a Machine gun. I built it up with a SWD M10/45 parts kit. I recently installed a CAR 15 stock and a red dot sight on it. I had a Sionics type suppressor that I got from SWD in 1989 on it too. That old Suppressor still works pretty good.
