    Firing pin catch?

I’ve noticed almost every build on YouTube has one installed, they’re sold out on McKay. McKay also says they’re optional for the build, so what exactly do they do extra? Here’s the part I’m taking about

Mine was constantly giving me issues so I took it out of my Norinco model B. Doesn't seem to affect anything BUT it is a safety factor.

Maybe that’s why they don’t ship with the McKay bolts anymore. They’re $50 and not In stock so I’ll pass on one
