Not sure but I think there is electricity involved- the box at the end of the cable plugs into the wall?

Spade grip mount set up for welding.

Rain out today but hopefully I’ll have some time this week to do some cutting and welding. Then testing before finishing.

I'm also confused as to why you can't weld while it's raining? You must not have the ability to weld inside and have to weld outside?

Yes sir - right now I have an old oily garage or equally old (115+ years old) historical house to chose from, so... driveway it is. Porch is stone so if the rain drags out I’ll set up out there it’s just a PITA vs my usual spot. Had a carport to work under at the farm but we’re city rats for a while until my son finishes school.

Okay back to work on this!

Finally got these spade grips apart- now theyll get mounted to a new plate cut for the rear stock mount. Last major part- everything else is cutting grinding welding or painting. Maybe One or two weeks once the grip mount is assembled.. not in time for our local match coming up sadly - but I expect to get it on the range in October to test before finishing.

Guajo just waiting on the grips then we can get this to the range ASAP - after 12 gauge there is nothing Id rather empty down range than this beast!

Cutting barrel shrouds & ground down wrench flats today for shroud clearance. It’s gonna be a monster. Once tested I’m thinking OD Green.. the big question is do I do two FA receivers also, so the whole thing matches? Or maybe Sam could coat the upper so it matches two of my stock MACs.. I think that may be best?
