    M11/nine with funneled magwell

I saw a picture of an m11/nine with a funneled magwell in small arms review. The picture was on the frankingun advertisement. Does anyone know who made the magwell or if it still a thing? It seems like it would be a badass attachment. I'm guessing it would need to be welded on.*

That was probably Shattered Mind's MAC that he turned into a Frankengun. He did the work himself and I don't know of anyone who offers this service, but anyone with decent TIG welding skills could do it.

Would a funnel really reduce reload times? I've always thought that magazines that change from double stack at the body to single stack at the mouth don't really need the help of a funnel because they're tapered at the top. Magazines that are the same width at the body and mouth, like a 1911 magazine or an Uzi magazine, can benefit from a funneled magazine well.

I say yes. The ZMAG-S are harder to load than grip mags. I had never noticed the funnel on the Lage grip before, but you're right. Nice!

Yes. Front to back is the issue not side to side. Funnel will help
