Finally figured out (I think) that they are the same animal. They were blocked to prevent loading of ball ammo and only allow blanks to be loaded. All that aside, where is the best place to get them from? I see some for sale that still have the block in them, some it's already removed. I would like to purchase a couple to use for bench shooting. Thanks in advance.

Yep. Looks to be pretty easy. But my next OOPS - where would I get followers for a Galil, as the follower will no longer work. Unless I'm missing something obvious. I saw an older post on another site that says CMMG AR followers will work, although the hump is on the opposite side from a Galil. Cut the bolt hold open tab off the back.

A magpul follower will work with some filing.

I bought a pile of the 35's to see how hard it is to get the last round to feed out of a zastava85 and was looking at the magpul follower also on another forum.
This one is better since it has pix LOL
If I can get the galil mag to feed the last round in the 85 I'll start a thread on the mods.
I honestly don't think it will be that hard I've done a bunch of other fud gun mags that wouldn't feed due to bullet tip down and being mags from the wrong gun, got all them working so I got a good idea where to start already.
If it works I'll have to pic up some 50's and 12's but I couldn't pass up the price on the 35's even with not having a galil.
