Yeah that's a good price, I've always got mine cheap here https://www.hkspecialiststore.com/pr...?productId=163 but he raised his price a bit now.

or you can buy 4-PRO-MAG 30 round HK33 mags for the same price as one 20round HK mag.

yeah, I was very skeptical too, knowing their reputation, so I rolled the dice and I bought one to see............ and surprise, surprise, surprise it work in my VECTOR 53!! perfectly. fed just like my HK factory mag I got with my V53, didn't jam, misfeeding etc..... so I bought a bunch more of them . at the time I bought mine they were 12 bucks ea, so buying 6 of those equaled to buying just one HK mag

depending on who made your 93, you may or may not have to tweak the lock up indent on the mag if it doesn't lock up in your gun, but that is a insignificant and minor tweak to do, when it saves you over 40 some bucks per mag

I also bought 4 of the Pro mag ones, some MKE as well when the price was right, both needed fitting but seem ok. I've been buying the steel HK mags for shooting
but also for resale, things like that never go back in price and it's worth the initial investment in the long run. I buy 1 every other month or so until I get a
comfortable pile and the sting on the wallet isn't as bad.

yeah, I bought 3 brand new alumium HK 40 rounders from VECTOR when they had them for 25 bucks or so.....those mags are not conducive for bench shooting, they are way too long. so, I took one of them and cut it down to 20 rounders



my next thing I did was to buy a HK33 feed tower from BETA CO and swap out the AR15 feed tower on the BETA C-MAG drum.

I definitely love that drum much more then the stick mags, it sits high up into the gun so it allows for bench shooting better then a stick mag does. plus, I don't have to take a bunch of stick mags, so I don't have contend with constant mag changes, as well as I don't have to stop shooting until the drum is empty.

yeah, since all of my 5.56 are on stripper clips, I decide to go to a totally different direction. that is to modify the inside base of a BETA stripper clip load by thinning the sides and flatten out the inside top, so it would fit and go over the HK mag. works great! I can easily and quickly load all my mags without any effort as well as my BETA C drum

Just so you know, when I first started using Beta C drums (I have six 5.56) I found that the stripper clip loader would wear the plastic feed towers. I don't know as the stripper clip loader would be so bad on metal magazines, but the stripper clip loader would wear the plastic feed towers. After maybe ten loadings with stripper clips that tower would start to double feed. I use the LULA loader and that has really helped wear of the Beta C towers.

if I ever experience those kinds of issues, I'll just use the top half of a 20 rounder HK mag that came with my VECTOR V53 and make a metal feed tower

Yes I remember the thread. That was rather ingenious. There are those that might not be as handy with tools as you. I for one would be in that category. I ended up buying a five pack of the AR feed towers to replace the plastic ones that were worn. Once I switched to the LULA loader from the stripper clip loader I have not had to replace any more feed towers.
