The RB trigger is much better than the TAC CON unit for simulated FA. A safe, semi and FR setting would only keep with their original design. It would make semi setting more practical so the FR trigger could be housed in a practical AR-15.

Maybe someday we will see it come from another MFGer.

I had one of the first TAC CON 3MR. I was out at SHOT Range Day in the freezing desert and watched the factory reps get pretty good strings. I noticed the media guys not so much. It was attributed to "learning" the trigger.
I was excited to try mine out. Dropped it in a 1988 Colt AR-15A2. I was NEVER able to get it to do anything that the standard position did. Some years later, I was visiting with a dealer and he said it was because I had a "First Gen" trigger. At his expense he swapped me out a brand new one. Guess what? No difference! It's still in that Colt cuz I don't shoot that rifle much and I'm too lazy to remove it and replace the factory parts. I'd LOVE to hear any suggestions as to what I might have done differently to get better results?
The three position selector was a HUGE selling point for me.

BDU used to let you put your e mail in so they could notify you

I bet its over , I will call them tomorrow. They do answer
They used to collect e mail addresses
They were supposed to be the only seller besides rare breed.
Maybe BDU found out HK PArts has them for $999.95 !!

I'm sorry, but I think BDU is a train wreck. A business model that's doomed to fail. Bit off WAY more than they can chew. Just my opinion, but I'm not alone.
Unconfirmed, but Colion Noir and Tim over at MAC are figuring out how to distance themselves, if BDU can't get its act together.
I'm sure we'd all love to hear what you find out from them? Please do report back?
FYI... I def WANT BDU to succeed! We need ALL the players that we can get in the 2A game!

Meanwhile, the REAL question is what is REALLY going on at Rare Breed? Posting pics of finished triggers in egg crates "ready to ship" isn't cutting it at this point.

Definitely a "light touch" and do all the "work" with the forward hand, like we did with the bump-fire stocks. Check out this video that makes it more obvious in the slow-motion part:

Well, that was a MOST impressive video.
If I understand you correctly, basically lightly ride the trigger while moving the gun forward with the support hand? As you say, a la bumpstock style?
Now I can't wait to give it another go.

Here is what I received from BDU
    "Good Afternoon Harris,

We are actually going to be receiving more around the end of the week for purchase. We are still selling this product but if you are looking at an order on your account where you purchased it before but currently out of stock it will say that is is discontinued or no longer available. It does not mean it is actually discontinued which is misleading sometimes. "

    From Rare Breed:

Our website will continue to say Out of Stock until we catch up with our waitlist. Until then, we send a special link to purchase to people in the order they joined the list.

We also restock Big Daddy Unlimited weekly, but I'm not sure how they handle their whole process.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

If true, that would be the most encouraging news I've heard in awhile. I'm sure there are plenty of potential customers that would prefer not to deal with the whole BDU membership BS, 99 cent signups not withstanding.

Apparently it did happen as a number of guys on YT report that they were able to order Thur night and Friday. But still no word from RB about stock and none of my friends that signed up a month ago have gotten any emails. Very strange....

I dropped a 6.5lb trigger spring in mine.
Def helps getting singles, but still a few doubles.
It did eliminate the unwanted bursts though.

    Soo.

A friend got one and tried it in His 9mm AR.

2 singles ,3 rnd burst ,then a kaboom....Blew the case apart about a 1/2" from base.

    What happened here?

PSA lower that takes Glock mags is the info I have.

I'll preface by saying I know NOTHING about his 9mm lower and we don't know what ammo he was shooting.
But I will say that I completely understand this particular trigger, and I fail to see how it's physically possible to have an OOB of any kind.
"Kaboom" CAN cover a lot of user incompetence and equipment failure. Just sayin'....
Was this some kind of homebrew build?
    Lots of missing data.

PSA lower..Glock mags. And I can only guess there matching upper.

I'll call and get some more details...have a pic of the case I may can post idk.

    &&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

Was he using ammo made from stepped brass? FM, AMMO LOAD, MAXXTech or IMT head stamps?

    Hehehe.
Trust Strobo to find an angle like that!
Again, you learn something every visit here.
And I thought I knew my 9mm ammo...

I had some of the pictured stepped brass from Freedom. It broke off at the seam on a Mac style and Uzi barrels, then caused an out of battery detention with both firearms. It did work in my MP5 clones. I never tried it in the Colt 9mm blowback. I think the biggest thing is the chamber of the barrel. Open bolt guns tend to have bigger chambers. That might be something to check in the PSA 9mm.
