HELP with ejection issue; full size SMG

New member…thanks for having me! I built a ‘postie’ full-size using a MacKay receiver and a Izzy kit. Using Winchester ‘White Box’ 115gr it seems to ‘short stroke;’ it will run (a bit slowly) and seems to extract normally but frequently the empty will not positively eject and bounces around inside the ejection port until it stops the bolt. I have a supply of an (unknown origin) 9mm smg ammo; it runs like a primate with a stripe on his rearhabiliments with THAT ammo. NATO 124 doesn’t run any better than 115. 147grn same. I saw a slo-mo video on YouTube that shows this exact condition but with no explanation or advice. Looking for a RKI out there who can help! Thanks!

Only 4 causes for short stroking:
    Weak ammo
    Too heavy a bolt
    Too strong a spring
    Friction drag

NATO spec 9mm should work 100% so it's not the ammo
The bolt weight on an IMI bolt should be in spec, ditto for the spring
Look for where the bolt is dragging in the receiver

My name is actually Scott and I really do live in Texas.

I know, not very creative but it is factual.

Thanks for the knowledgeable responses! On another note, does anyone have loading data that would approximate Israeli (or anyone elses’) smg loads? I’m sure liability-conscious American are reluctant to publish such, knowing that someone would likely feed it to their Luger with expensive results.
