I love it Sam and Tina! Does each mag need an adapter?

TSPC, Ask Richard if he wants to test it. My prototype uses 1 adapter that can fit standard zytel, PAM2 and Z Mags, even M-11/22 mags... if you know how to convert Richards M-11/22 kit to work with the Max-31 uppers. The mags lock in and release like the OEM M11/9 mags. The adapter locks in using the Max-31 mag release. I'm sure Richard or Sam could make them lighter, prettier and stronger.

Right now we are working on 2 solutions. One is an inexpensive sleeve/snap on style adapter that will be inexpensive and will be meant to stay on the mag, however they snap on and snap off so it's pretty simple to change it. The second solution is single adapter that remains inserted in the mag well and the Shockwave mags remain in their OEM configuration. Sorry, no video of this one just yet.

I wish the 3D printing guys would make some.
With dimensions I can print but I cannot guarantee strength as the walls look pretty thin.

I thought the same thing when I saw that listing. Iím sure there will be someone on Gunbroker that hasnít figured out there will soon be other options and make the purchase. Got to love Capitalism!

Anyone know if the Lage DC31 fits the first gen steel max 31? The website doesn’t list it, only gen2 stuff… but they both accept the same drum mags so it should work right?

Probably just an oversight. I can’t think of any reason it wouldn’t work.

    Will be Awesome For Sure!

This gives folks who already have pallets full of Shockwave mags for their M11's to use the exact same mags for their M10/9mm Lage uppers = A Win-Win!

    Thank you Practical Solutions Family!

Glad to see both the Lage Mags and Sam’s adapter. Curious to see how they work out. The Suomi style z-mags (that are no longer available), had a different angle on the feedlips than the regular zmags did.

While that may be true, I don’t believe the Practical Solutions’ clip on adapter changes the feed angle, and it appears to work. Perhaps it’s not necessary. I didn’t change the angle on the Sten mags I converted, and they work.

Yes, the feed lips are re-profiled.

Here's an update to the PS/31 Zmag Adapter. This is our 2nd Edition. These will be shipping to beta testers shortly and should be available for sale very soon. In this version, we've incorporated our paddle magazine release and it is meant to stay inserted into the upper while changing the magazine. Projected retail is: $79.99.

I love that y'all are working on this.
I have my doubts that an angled adapter will work reliable with an unmodified Z-Mag.
A perpendicular adapter would be more reliable in my experience.
