    Rest in Love Tom

Like many of you, I bought several CF-W tungsten bolts from Tom. I never met him in person, but spoke to him over the phone and could hear the energy and enthusiasm about our subgun hobby. So sorry to hear the bad news. Rest in love Vegas SMG.

This is so sad to learn. Like many here, I only communicated with Tom via email and on the phone when purchasing bolts, drums, etc., but just through that alone he felt like a close friend. Anybody who called him for a quick 2 minute purchase and ended up talking for 45 minutes knows exactly what I mean.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Gayle, his daughters and the rest of his family.

We should all honor Tom by emulating his positivity and integrity on this forum and in all other aspects of our lives.

    v/r,
    Esox

Man I really hate to hear this. Tom helped me a ton with diagnosing a weird issue I had with my CFW bolt. We continued to chat after it was resolved through email and I could tell he was a super nice guy and highly knowledgeable.

I miss him greatly. I considered him my best and closest friend. He was instrumental in Tenko adapter development. I am having a hard time excepting that he is gone. I have been lucky to know him.

I never had the pleasure or privilege of meeting or doing business with Tom Mr. Vegas.... He is in a far better place now; may God Bless his Family and his Many Loving Friends.

Prayers for his soul, and all his family. Huge loss for the gun community and especially for the Mac community.

Truly hoping for sub guns and unlimited ammo in heaven!!!!

I was late to the Suomi Drum extravaganza but I did buy some springs, platters, etc. from Tom. He apologized that all the drums were gone but helped me out as best he could. He was genuine and patient with the newbie.

I also was a customer of his when he took over the ramrodding of the CFW bolts. Anything I bought from Tom came perfectly packed with an extra 'goodie'. That is a subtle trait of someone more interested in others than themselves.

I hope his family sees this thread.
My name is actually Scott and I really do live in Texas.

I know, not very creative but it is factual.

Guys, I can't stop thinking about Tom. I wish I had land to try and host a subgun get together in his honor. If anyone has facilities or access like that I'd be glad to help support / organize.
