Ya. If I got a 2nd one I'd get one with no front rail at all for one handed autopistol glory. I can take that one off but it's got tiny set screws for the forward grip that are loc-tited in there, and I distinctly remember when I installed it telling myself to never mess with it again.

Now that I think about it I wanna do it just for kicks!

By the way, the machinist that did mine said he'd do a batch if there were 10 interested buyers, but of course his fee would be on top of the cost of the upper. Get 12 people that are ready to go, and I'll ask him for a fee quote.

I got rid of that collapsing stock pretty quick, and finally swore off wire stocks for good. It locked up as well as could be expected, but they just aren't comfortable for me to shoot, especially in full auto. Nothing looks cooler though!

I mostly shoot it with the Lage ACE pattern adapter plate and an Ace AKFX, with a foam pad installed Concord style, but will hopefully be moving to a Scorpion stock soon. It has a low sight plane and you need either a stock with a drop comb or a riser on your optic.

How different would this be than my Baby Ghost upper in 9mm?

Anybody use one an Ares stock with their Mac? I heard that they were supposed to be better than the original wire stock back in the day.

Yes. There is not a 380 barrel unless the Max-11/380 barrel was cut down for the Sk.

All m11 and m11a1 are .380 guns. The CFWa bolt enables you to safely shoot 9mm

It was my understanding that the small magwell M11 and M11A1 guns use a smaller .380 magazine that is not long enough front to back to put the longer 9X19 ammo into the magazine. The SWD M11A1 with the larger magwell can use original Zitel or Zmags which can hold 9X19 ammo.

Ya good point. Only the large magwell baby macs can shoot 9mm as they are the only ones that can fit the mags. You could also use this upper to shoot .380 with a .380 barrel if you could find one, and with either the OEM or CFWa bolt mk2.
