Our son recently bought a Springfield XD 9mm. He says it fits his hand better than the Glock 17, and he really likes the Grip Safety (which I also like, and would love to have on my Glock). He let me shoot it, and the only complaint(?) I have is that, at 7 yards, it shoots approx 5" high, so you have to aim low to compensate. I realize that, in a defensive situation, that's not a big deal, but it's aggravating as he'll at the range!
