    Lage Max11a1/15 M249 Stock?

So, as I'm sure many of you have seen if you've been following Lage's work, there are videos and pictures from the Max11/15 and Max11a1/15 projects along the way. There is one particular firearm which has intrigued me since seeing it, however.

    And that is this:

At first glance, it appears to be nothing more than a 249 stock, and somebody likely having machined an adapter piece for an M11. However, looking closer at it, specifically towards the mounting point, it seems 'off'.

For example, here is your run-of-the-mill 249 stock interface:

Notice the extreme angle, as well as the mounting hardware with which to contend with. Now, compare that to the following:

And also pay close attention to the area in red, as that is not present on the 'real' 249 stock.

I would LOVE to find out how this was accomplished, because not only does it 'look' badass, but it also seems like it'd work pretty well in conjunction with my a1/15 when my number is called. So, if you've got any ideas? That'd be great!

It's a TAPCO M249 stock for the FN/FAL that I made an M-11/9 stock adapter for. Sorry, none for sale.

Here is a link to the TAPCO stock:

Mac's are the best. Even the professional makers are tinkerers too.
