Does anyone know why the last case tends to just fall out rather than being ejected further like the others? If I have a jam in my Uzi it's usually on the last case.
I suspect it’s because the next round in the mag helps direct the case toward the ejector. The follower doesn’t ride up as high as a cartridge in the magazine, so the empty from the last round in the mag is able to drop down a bit more, striking the ejector differently, resulting in a different ejection path.
