I got mine from a local friend NIW. Paid more than the intro price but not by too much.

Shrikes have never been on my radar, however
I have alway's wondered why w/ so many transferable M-60's out there
why hasn't anyone come up w/ a 5.56 conversion kit??

Off subject but kind of relevant, since there are very few transferable Stoners, FN 249's and Shrikes.

I'd sell my Colt Commando M-16A1 for an M-60 in 5.56 any day of the week.

Considering the price of a 60, if you can afford one your probelly not going to care alot about ammo cost and there would be some serious re working, possible perminant changes that would need to be done I would think. I dunno never heard of anyone trying it.
