Fiber Optic Front Sight for Sterling Mk4
Made of hardened steel and bright fiber optic, these sights are much easier to see than the factory blade. If you shoot a Sterling, the advantage of this sight will be immediately evident. Nicely blued.
This blade replaces that of the adjustable foresight assembly most commonly found on Sterling type SMG’s today. If your blade screws out of a base that is dovetailed into the casing, this sight is right for you. I have no idea if it will work on the new semi auto guns. $35 ea. post paid in the US. In stock for immediate shipment via certified mail. Send check (will hold for clearance) or postal MO to: Diamond K 1390 E. 7th St. Delta, CO 81416 |

Do you happen to offer front sight posts without the fiber optic? Original front sight posts are really, really impossible to find, and i think there would be a strong market for them!

Yes, the FO can be easily replaced.
I have only red rod currently, but green is an option, if you want to send in an order, I’ll get the rod and make it up. I’m sorry, but I have no plans to do standard sights at this time, didn’t think there was any market for them. |

No big deal, I may order a fiber optic one, and if the fiber optic isn't my thing, just remove it and fill in the hole or some such. Nice looking product, do you offer any other Sterling or gun related parts? |

Just received my front sight post with the green fiber optic - quick shipping, well-made, same height as the original post on my semiauto WiseLite carbine.
I installed it without any problems - point of impact at 25 yards is 5" below point of aim with the post screwed down all the way, same as the original. Thanks! |

I suspect since they were made for the original spec machine (by Sterling), you will have to remove some thread on the bottom to get a higher point of impact with a Wiseliet Sterling. They are notorious for shooting low. That means the front sight has to be driven lower to bring point of impact up. I had to remove both thread and sight post to get my Wiselite to hit POA at 100 yards. Just be aware, this sight only allows some material to be removed from the base threads. Can't remove any from the top as it is set with your fiber optic.
Just something to think about before getting disappointed about POA. I do like them though! Looks very nice and I am sure makes for a great sight picture. |

Finally got out to the range with this setup today. Great product! The FO (I went green) really grabs your eye.
I had to file some off the base to get in low enough but there are still plenty of threads left (WLA shot 12" low at 25yrds). Thanks Diamond K! ![]() |

Dang it! Is there any way, you could save me a red one, till the 28th? I called you about getting one (with a stupid question, sorry), last month, and you kindly called me back too. ![]() You don't know me, so I fully understand why, you probably wont set one aside for me. I should have grabbed one when I had the extra cash. Last edited by sterlgrl : 07-07-2010 at 12:22 PM. |
