www.jgsales.com has the Wiselite semi Sterling on sale for $399 right now
There aren't any commercially available semi Stens right now, although Wiselite Arms will build up your Sten MKIII kit for $385 |

Semi Sterlings in the EU? I doubt that there are any at all. It should be possible to import one of these Wiselite Sterlings through a US exporter though. Just expect to pay more than twice the price they're selling for in the US.

FYI I learned from poking around at WL page that they will only do standard STEN builds using YOUR supplied kit, nothing else but a standard build. |

Just found a forum where SaskSten is thinking of offering the SaskSten Sterling and his pricing varies between 1600 and 1900 Can Dollars. In that case, the WiseLite Sterling is a better option. Also because of our minimum barrel length laws (most European countries 16 inch, my country 12 inch).

luckily, there is no barrel lenght limit overe here, however it has become much more complicated to have imported full auto gun by a dealer and then having it converted to semi. moreover, most full auto sterlings available in EU (i found sources in UK and Czech rep.) are deemed military material here, ie. even more licensing required. it is not fair, is it?

From what I've seen, it looks like good quality. It's made from one piece of tube. The end cap locking rings are new. All major parts a nicely welded to the tube.
It's a very close copy, only the front end looks slightly different as the barrel support is welded in, and the tube is not wrapped around it like the original. It has the mil finish instead of the comertial. Definitely worth considering IMO. |
