My advice is don’t stress about when to sell or if you got top dollar. I would tell you sell when you want to put the money to something else. I would not sell and just has a pile of cash sitting around. YMMV

Wow.. I just saw this! I remember talking with him when he first had the Suomi drums for sale. I bought a bunch but of course not as many as I should have. Things just never stop changing. :/ I will be doing a drum dump in his memory and will likely always think of him when shooting them.

I agree with you guys!! It’s all fun for me but some people like to take it as serious as a national match and I just let them be. If that’s what make the event fun for them, go for it. I’m there to shoot and talk!

One thing to remember is to do the threaded barrel, you will need to enlarge the muzzle of the receiver. The factory opening is not large enough to fit a threaded barrel through. That is the main reason they stopped making the barrel and few people wanted to open up the muzzle.

I did the same thing with my Wilson gun. I got my gun that it will accept 9/10 drums and called it good. I sold the drums that didn’t lock up.
