    AM-180 M11/9 upper coming?!! Maybe?

Here is what I got from Craig; "Hi Jacob, We work on it when we can around everything else, which unfortunately is not a lot of consistent time. Like the M16 version, its a pet project that a couple of us here have a personal interest in and we do what we can on it when we can. I'm reluctant...

    AM-180 M11/9 upper coming?!! Maybe?

I just e-mailed Craig at Tactical Innovations asking him if there is any updates. I will let you know if I hear anything back. I e-mailed him back in May, but received no reply. With these uppers not being approved for sale, could we all just make them ourselves? What are the legalities of...

    M-11/22 to M-11A1/22

Wow! Thank you for the response. I am hoping that atleast some of those issues could be solved with the new designs, but some are just the nature of the beast. I wonder if we will ever see one hit the market.

    M-11/22 to M-11A1/22

Strobro32, Could you please elaborate on the flaws of the AM180? I have been e-mailing Tactical Innovations about every 3 months to see where they we at on that project. I would really like to get one (It was the reason I bought the M11/9 in the first place), but I am getting tired of the non...

    M11-180

I have emailed Craig from Tactical Innovations, and here is his response from about a month ago when I asked when they will release the AM-180 upper: "Sorry, no idea yet... We work on it when we can around everything else. We will have it prominently noted on our webpage when available for...

    AM-180 M11/9 upper coming?!! Maybe?

Let's get this done!!! Here is my rendition of what I think it may look like. Does anyone know a timeline for this. This upper is the reason why I got into the mac world, and it feels like this is slipping away again.

4 MAX-11/15’s will available for you guys to shoot at Big Sandy this weekend.

Big Sandy Shoot of the Max11/15 I was able to shoot the Max 11/15 at the Big Sandy!!! Great Addition to the Mac uppers. Very smooth shooting gun. Here is a shot of me shooting it with some brass flying. I shot it with one of my Lancer Systems magazines and 2 GI magazines. Not one hang up or...

AM180 mac upper? is it possible?

I was talking to one of our club member in IAWCA (Idaho Automatic Collectors Association http://iawca.org/) and he was talking about converting his Max-31 or something like it to hole Ruger 10/22 magazines. That way you have a reliable magazine that you could potentially have a 110 round...

AM180 mac upper? is it possible?

Would it be possible to sell the plans to something like this: http://www.thompsonmachine.net/index_files/Page330.htm and have it be a make it at your own risk sort of thing. I would definitely buy the plans. I would even be willing to convert them into a 3D format for the community. This...

AM180 mac upper? is it possible?

The AM-180 was the reason that I bought my Macs. I was very disappointed when I found out about them being denied. I would be very interested in how these are made. I might be able to draw up some of the parts in Solidworks for the project.

    Shadowed Pelican Cases

Yes, I had to make a starter hole and then reconnect the wire. Kind of a pain, but worth it in the end. Sorry about the drum, I sold it a while ago. Glad you all liked the outcome. As you do them, you learn tricks, and they keep looking better and better.

    Khimera Update

I am an engineering supervisor at an aerospace company that works in SoildWorks every day. I would be willing to spend some time on this and leverage my contacts at our machine shops to get this thing going. I have a M11/9 lower that I drew up to the original prints that I would be willing to...

    2015 IAWCA Subgun Championship

We had a subgun match in Idaho this past weekend. I got first, my dad got second and my brother got third. My sister got first place in ladies. We did it with a Lage Max-31. Great match, and fun for the whole family. Check out the videos here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-LjDJGAa20...

    Kelly's Heroes Match

Targets ranged from 15 to 30 yards. Some were pretty close, but it made for quick stages. We were done by 1:00pm, with clean up. I have done it for the first two years, and it has been a great time.

    Kelly's Heroes Match

Idaho Automatic Weapons Collectors Association puts on an annual match called Kelly's Heroes. This year I was the match director. The first stage was called "Straight Away." The stage had targets that were covered up by ones in front of it on three rows. There was an optional spinner target...

    Shadowed Pelican Cases

I used just plain old chalk. I left the lines in to show the tracing. I take compressed air and blow the chalk away when I am finished. It is the best thing that I found for cutting the cases out. The case is a 1750. To cut the foam I take a small hole saw with an electric drill in reverse and...
