If you carry empty chamber just leave it at home. Literally the equivalent of saying I'll have time to put on my seatbelt before an accident.

You might want to try Joe @ Curtis Tactical in Ohio. He is currently upgrading my AM-180 supressor with a modern 17-4 PH baffle stack and replacing the aluminum end caps with user serviceable stainless end caps. Found him thru CHILI 17, UziTalk moderator.

When I shipped my Uzi to Chili17 I shipped it w/ insurance thru FedEx. My premium with Eastern Insurance (which covers if lost during shipment) for a year is less than that one FedEx shipment and covers every gun I own.

JMacken37 is spot on. The majority of MAC internals were made of "pot metal" (zinc) and are crap. Lage internals are the way to go. And welcome to UziTalk, some great people reside here.

I believe the best GG grip conversions were made by Chris Humphries (SP?). I had one that I sold with my Uzi. It was flawless.

Took 3 five gallon buckets of mixed 9, .45, 5.56 & .308 to Phoenix last time I went up. $370.00 for the 3. $1.70 / LB. for cartridge brass. COMEX copper was at $2.85 / LB that day, it is $2.59 / LB. today.

I had an original C&S drum, very well made and worked very well. Sold it to Kaen3e on this forum years ago.
