Interesting I just replaced the recoil spring assembly with one that is about .5 inches shorter on the firing pin side and it seems to work much better. 2 full mags and one missfeed

That's good thinking. So I'm wondering if the reciever itself might be out of spec. It's got somewhat of a twist to the receiver when looking at it from the back. At first I figured it was just a vector and thats that, but now I'm wondering if it's actually bent!

Yes they do touch the ejector. No it fails from both sides

Yeah I should have mentioned that. But I tried 5 mags, all same issue. The bolt really wants to override the rounds.

I did wind up bending the mag catch upward slightly to pull the mag up as tight as possible. This helped but still only fed 10 or 12 rounds then started to jam again.

I've got this mini that I bought and it simply will not feed rounds. I get rounds that jam into the feed ramp, and rounds that point straight up and down. I changed the grip frame thinking it would help, have several here, because it seemed like the mag was too low maybe. But that didn't do...

Awesome, and I see what you mean on all accounts. First I tapped the dimples inward closing them about half way. Then it would fit in the grip. There is a step shoulder on the inside I didn't notice before, the mag rests nicely against that to set the depth. And, like you said, it still...
