I found one ejector that fits the bolt using the original hole and I’ll have to weld the slot edge to get a tight fit on the ejector. I’m not going any further until I get a chance to view the info that root is going to send. I appreciate all the responses!

My mistake, I corrected it in the post. I have a D&D Sales Model A receiver.

In order to place the ejector so that it rides in the correct position on the bolt, I had to enlarge the ejector slot. I had to widen it by .026". Picture shows the original orientation which put the ejector hard against the bolt. Compared to an original UZI, that wasn't correct so I opened up...

I forgot to mention that I have two complete FA trigger assemblies and neither of them have that bolt safety in them, which is why I thought it might be something to do with a semi build.

There is a good description of it on the technical part of the home page but it didn't mention it was for FA only. I appreciate the answer. Thanks!

The ejector I have is radiused for the B style bolt so I may as well get a B style bolt assembly. I didn't realize there was a difference in the sear angle. New semi sears are inexpensive and readily available and that's the way I'll go. Thanks for the great information.

I measured a FA UZI's sear slot and it measured .500" long. The sear slot in my SA Model A style receiver measures .425" long. I hope that helps. I'm trying to find out if I can enlongate the slots in my semi auto receiver in order to use a modified full auto lower and not change the semi auto...
