My first Form 4 was in 1996 and it was a nightmare - took 5 months. Finally had to call my congressman and voila! mailed next day. My last Form 1 (fall) took 5 weeks... made me happy. BTW - They never adjusted the $200 for inflation since 1935.... I sure hope they dont.

I contacted bradd at The AK forum and he had 1/2 x 28 slants. I needed one as my MAADI had the neutered muzzle and would not take a 13mm - On mine it was a single stack I hogged out to take double stacks and got some seriously used AK wood, added some trench art Arabic writing and the worst...

I iuse the Hahn drop in the top style and it works great with STEN mags - which are cheaper than UZI mags. I got 15 delivered last year for under $40 from Tactical Innovations in ID.... I cut a number of them down to 20 rounders and they work perfectly.

In Oregon the State Police SWAT team uses the Micro as an entry weapon. I got a chance to play with one for a day or two and the best groups I could manage at 50 yards... from a rest with Federal XM177 55 ball, were about 8" ....... It was hard to keep them on a target at 100.... their saving...

You can do a couple of cool mods to an AK... those are not them.
