+1 again what Ed said. He and others here helped me out with my Golani. I had some case sticking after round 80. The chamber looked a little dull so I used a scotchbrite pad wrapped around a dowel connected to a drill.

I'm with DB. Is the bore pitted too? If the bore was spotless, I'd just keep it "as is" since the catastrophic hurricane adds a bit of history and character.

Man, that sucks. And you can't take just the stock to Fastenal could you? They have all kinds of stuff like circlips, pins, etc. I got a pin for my AK front sight from them when I fixed a slightly canted front sight.

Nice buy with the Stag! I love piston AR's. If you want another Golani, you can buy one from Bud's Gun Shop, shoot it and if it doesn't function correctly or is canted, etc., you can get your money back or try another til you get a good one. The only problem is the FFL transfer fee each time.
