Where does one find RR MACs?

I still have 2 AMA flats in my safe. Planned on having them built a couple years ago but got bit by the HK bug

Is this what “Assault Weapon” bans do to transferable MACs?

That was definitely a “Hold my beer and watch your eyes” moment. Nothing like learning to tig weld on a transferable machine gun.

Who Does Quality Work/Fast Turnaround Time On HK?

For absolute perfection give Mike Woodward @ TSC a shout. He did one for me and I couldn't be happier.. He and his wife Tammy are two of the most genuine people you will deal with. https://imgur.com/a/8a7WF

Mac 10 by American Marksman Armory

None of the hand stamped markings are from the original manufacturer including the serial number. All of the original markings are located on the bottom of the receiver just ahead of the trigger gaurd.

Mac 10 by American Marksman Armory

The AMA Macs were flats that were bent and registered prior to the 86 ban. The only marking on them were the Cobray emblem, the serial number, and "Roseville Ca" which was very lightly engraved on the bottom of the receiver. Dan Shea had a bunch of these advertised in Machineguns News for $200...

    Ciener AC556 installation question

I actually have two kits. The only one I have ever used happens to be the early style kit. The second kit I just realized has the newer ramped chamber adapter which I purchased just for the spare magazine. I have a dozen Black Dog mags that I have just about given up on. I will try the newer...

    Ciener AC556 installation question

If you are talking about the Blackdog mags I also have not had any luck getting them to run in full auto. I have 2 Ciener mags that run flawlessly. My 22 kit lives in my AC556. Very fun gun to shoot.

Stamp came in today- my first FA!

Congratulations on your new purchase. You really need to pick up a Ceiner 22 kit for it. I shoot more 22 out of mine than I do .233. At 1800 rpm it's every bit as much fun and from my experiences very reliable. This is just the beginning I'm sure you are already looking at which machine gun...

    MP-5 next

I'm not doubting that a sear or two has broken of any manufacture, but how it broke is the other half of the story you never hear. You also have heard of guys welding on Sears to get them to work in burst packs. I still have yet to see a picture of one that was broke or a discription of in...

    MP-5 next

Have you actually seen an S&H sear break? I asked Curtis Higgins about this not too long ago and he just laughed. They were cast from tool steel. The sear is subjected to very little strain. I just can't see one breaking. I could be wrong though.

    Wear from full-auto w/ 22LR conversion?

I own two kits for my kac556f and both kits run flawlessly with one of the two magazines. I also have tried the blackdog magazines to no avail. The kits are not the problem it's the magazines. If I had the time and patience I'm sure I could make all of them run.

    AC556 In Slow Motion

Every AC556f I have shot folds up from time to time Shooting long bursts. Does anybody have a cure for this problem? I imagine what is happening is that little lever gets caught on your shirt causing the stock to fold up. I have often thought about trimming it to keep this from happening. Any...
