Thanks for the help. I talked to brooks and he said the rear cap might be hard to come off. i forgot the mononcore baffle screwed into the front cap. I took the front cap off and tapped the core out with a wooden dowel. I have never seen so much carbon fouling and it is hard as a rock.

It’s a C&S. It runs so good. I sold my 2 vectors. They worked 90% of the time but not near the quality as the C&S.

I had a green mountain barrel that was not tapered enough and would not run.

I would be careful using green mountain info. I bought a full auto barrel from the several years ago and it would not work in my gun. I could see the issue when comparing the barrel to an original imi barrel but they were not interested in fixing their barrel.

It’s just sitting in my parts box. You can see the difference when comparing it to a imi barrel. I was lucky to buy several new imi barrels when I got my gun. I bought the green mountain as a beater but it is too unreliable.

I have a green mtn barrel that is not reliable in my fa Uzi. My gun was brought to full imi full auto spec by BWE. Green mountain refused to help me. There barrels are not to spec.

When I load the Suomi uzi drum, do I release the spring and let the feed tower fill up and then back of the spring a click or so and add more rounds to fully load the drum or do you just fill up the drum and fill the tower when you release the spring ( without adding extra rounds)? Thanks

Uncle Billy has the right solution. You can always add extra turn of pre tension.

This may not be helpful but my imi conversion that Richard installed his feedramp in runs the 147 flat nose and the 158 fiocchi. I did find that the 147gr american eagle did not always stay subsonic in my gun.
