Happy new year !
I've had an Uzi for some time and really enjoy it. I had the opportunity to buy a second a while back and did so. Now it's time to sell one of them off and keep the other. I honestly don't know which is more valuable, if at all.

oil
I use clp mostly, use various high tech grease on sliding surfaces. Grease is always used in between parts that have an impact between them over oil. a little grease goes a long way. It may be very important to use different greases during the summer then you might in the winter. Take some...
yep uzi
having had both, I say uzi as well, unless your going to modify the heck out of the mac 9 for a race gun, but then thats a different question altogether. But as a stock sub gun, a full size uzi is hard to beat. Sterlings are pretty cool too.
have a 223 galil with only a bayonet lug. i bought a quick detach bipod but it wont attach as there is no attachment point. did i get wrong bipod? what are my options? Id like to use factory bipod.
xmg works great
My xmg works great! Total blast. Goes through belts like nobodys business. Just needs a lotta lube! My friend is selling his for 4000. He does not have over 500 rounds through it. He is selling it cause now he wants a real mg34. Ha Ha. PM me if you are interested in it.
wow
wow such a deal! Thanks! Went out again today just make sure, yep the old barrel gulps down even the slightly cockeyed rounds the other barrel beat up! Please PM me your adress again and I will send you the barrel back. I doubt it has 100 rounds through it.
bought a new barrel from kgb quite a while back. The rounds seem to jam as they are entering the chamber causing the round to be bent a little above the mid point on each case. I am wondering if anyone else had this problem and if so if they opened up the edges around the chamber a little bit to...
singles?
I dont know how we got on singles, I can pull off singles all day long. One of our stages is 3 target stands. the first at 12yds, the next at 25 yards and the last at somewhere between 35-50 yards. The course of fire is one 20 round mag into each target requiring 3 mag changes under...
experiance?
Whats experiance? No really have won some local matches here have shot FA for 7 years. Best performer so far is 9mm m16 w m169 upper. If 2 shot bursts is all that i can expect to keep on target with this sterling then i will quit trying for the impossible.
My sterling seems to climb and be kinda hard to keep on target. Noticing that there are a lot of those who shoot these in matches, id like some tips of what i could do to make this gun more managable. Loads? Springs? bolt mods?
My new Andrewski gun runs well on full auto but fails to feed correctly quite often when firing single shots. It kinda jambs the round in the chamber a lil crooked and decreases the power needed set off the primer. Whats the cure a new spring perhaps?
Saw a ad from a carroll warner about sterling bayonets for sale. was wondering if this was the guy how is selling the repros or if this guy was straight up?
buying
There is not a lot of class 3 where i am nor is there a place we all get together and shoot in my state so finding one here to buy is few and far between. Most of my purchases have been not through dealers. I ask for copy of their form, if it is not clear and legible then walk away. I...
Has anyone tried 9mm imi 115gr +P+ ammo in the sterlings? It is rated overly stout for handguns but as these are open bolt guns they should be ok.... right? i dowanna blow up 7k trying to save cents but it is tempting.
My sterling kit has a so so barrel in it. I would like to get a better one would trade to with cash boot for a nice used one in someones kit. I remember seeing somewhere that someone was making new barrels, can anyone point me in that direction?
